MLB All Star Game in Colorado is hypocritical

Remember my article about woke sports equalling broke sports? What is happening to professional sports these days? I feel like I’m living in crazy town with all this woke nonsense causing rifts and divides in an industry that historically has been such a great way to UNITE communities. Yet, with the recent announcement by the MLB to move the All-Star Game from Georgia, where it was originally planned, to Colorado, is a bit much.

Even the governor of Georgia, Brian Kemp, agrees. It “doesn’t make a whole lot of sense,” he said.

Of course, everyone in pop culture seems to have an opinion about this and feels like everyone else cares to hear their point-of-view. I certainly don’t care to hear what they have to say, especially when most of these folks don’t even care about baseball. They’re just using it as a means to further their agenda.

So what’s the big deal? What has everyone in an uproar? Well, if you’ve been living under a rock for the past week, let me catch you up on the news. When Georgia passed a new voting law, which requires identification to be presented when voting, the left went nuts! That’s right. And what does the left do when they go nuts? They stoke the fire of divide, and in this case they did so by successfully convincing the MLB to move the much-anticipated 2021 All Star Game away from Georgia.

However, the irony of it all is, in protest Georgia’s new voting laws which require identification, the MLB decided to move the All Star game to Colorado . . . which has a very similar voting law!

Think about it folks. You can’t have it both ways. If you’re going to move the game from one state because of a “principled” position, you can’t move the game to another state with the same “egregious” voting law. It flies in the face of your argument.

It really is asinine.
